From Devember 7 to 8,2019,Professor Guo Aijun,dean of School of economics,Lanzhou University,was invited to participate in the “70 years of new China’s economics-Dean’s forum of 100 universities of China’s economics”hosted by school of economics,Peking University,as well as the “70 years of theoretical economoics”theme forum and “70 years of Applied Economics”theme forum.

At the invitation of the host organization,Professor Guo Aijun,President of the University,delivered a keynote speech at the round table forum on the “Theory construction and policy implementation of 70 years’ theoretical economics in New China”,and professor Guo Aijun also had a heated discussion with the presidents of seven schools of economics,including School of economics of Renmin University of China,school of Business of Nanjing University and School of economics of Nankai University.It has strengthened the communication and connection between our institute and other universities in China,enhanced the academic reputation of the school of economics,and played a good role in promoting the construction of first-class disciplines.

In order to promote the cultivation and introduction of talents from the school of economics,President Guo Aijun conducted on-site interviews and exchanges with a number of doctoral students from home and abroad in the “recruitment fair for talents from 100 s  chools of economics” of this forum.

This forum focused on 70 years’ theoretical economics teaching and discipline development,theoretical exploration and development,therretical construction and policy implementation,70 years’ economic construction achievements,applied economics discipline construction and talent cultivation,and applied economics taking root in China and serving local development. It aimed to better undertake the mission of economics to serve the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The forum was composed of 158 presidents from 136 Economics Colleges and universities in China.And it included the opening ceremony,keynote speech,round table forum and talent recruitment fair.
