Main content: since the 19th CPC National Congress, the orientation and accuracy of China's regional development strategy have become more and more clear and comprehensive, which is promoting the formation of a new development pattern. The 14th five year plan highlights the "four plates" and "five strategies". The 14th five year plan has made major arrangements for the strategic planning and main contents of regional development, pointing out the direction for the study of regional economics.

Introduction to sun Jiuwen:

Sun Jiuwen, male, born in 1956 in Beijing. Doctor of economics.

Second grade professor and doctoral supervisor, School of Applied Economics, Renmin University of China. Chief expert (Regional Economics) of Marxist theoretical research and construction project of the Ministry of education, distinguished researcher of National Development Institute of Renmin University of China, and expert of the expert group of national land and space planning (2020-2035) of the Ministry of natural resources. He once served as a member of the expert advisory committee of the poverty alleviation and development leading group of the State Council. He also serves as president of the National Economic Geography Research Association, vice president of China regional economic society and vice president of China Regional Science Association.

It mainly studies regional development theory, land spatial planning, urban economy and finance, land and real estate, county economic development, etc. Presided over and completed 3 major bidding projects of NSFC, 1 key project, 1 project of NSFC management science department and 1 project of Geoscience Department; One major social science project in Beijing, as well as more than 50 research projects such as the national social science, the social science of the Ministry of education, Beijing Social Science, the national development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of industry and information technology and the world bank. He has published more than 20 textbooks and monographs and more than 300 articles.

He has won the national "five ones" project work award, the second prize of Beijing Science and technology award, the second prize of scientific research award of the national development and Reform Commission (twice), the second prize of Beijing excellent teaching achievement award and other awards.
